"A Masterpiece Inspired by Vintage Archives"
This racing jacket captures the authentic spirit of the 1960s motorsports scene. The centerpiece of the design is the bold racing stripe running down the left chest, perfectly complemented by our signature "ROLL CALIFORNIA" patch—an iconic emblem of BARNS OUTFITTERS.
While the details are faithfully inspired by vintage archives to evoke the era's nostalgia, we have carefully refined the silhouette for a modern fit. This ensures the jacket offers both a classic, storied look and the effortless wearability required for today’s lifestyle.

"A Piece Enveloped in Retro Heritage"
The racing jacket traces its roots back to the late 1950s. As racing speeds increased, the industry shifted from traditional leather to specialized gear that was lightweight yet durable enough to protect drivers. By the 1960s, the nylon racing jacket emerged—a light, tough innovation that remains the blueprint for modern designs today.
Beyond the track, the jacket gained a cult following across various subcultures alongside the rise of motorsports, solidifying its place as a timeless fashion icon. The stand collar is a key original detail, faithfully preserved to serve its primary purpose: shielding the neck from the wind.
The relaxed fit through the body and armholes is specifically designed for effortless layering. Even when worn over a thick sweatshirt, it remains comfortable and bunch-free. This versatility allows you to start enjoying this piece right now, even in the current season.
We’ve paid meticulous attention to detail by coordinating the stripe colors to perfectly match each body color. To complete the look, we’ve added our signature 'ROLL' patch—a hallmark of BARNS OUTFITTERS.
The ribbed cuffs provide a snug fit around the wrists, effectively blocking wind from entering the sleeves.
Crafted from a high-density blend of polyester and cotton, this fabric is engineered to provide superior wind resistance. The tight weave ensures that the elements stay out while maintaining the durability needed for everyday wear.
