 "B.A.R.N.S."

Founded in Los Angeles in 1983, D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) was an educational program aimed at preventing drug abuse.
It was widely implemented throughout the 1980s and 1990s, reaching up to 75% of school districts in the United States at its peak.
Later studies raised questions about its effectiveness, and over time, many districts shifted to alternative programs.
This design takes inspiration from the charity T-shirts associated with the D.A.R.E. program, incorporating the concept into BARNS OUTFITTERS’ logo for a unique reinterpretation.

Thanks to its adjustable design, it can be worn comfortably without being restricted by size.

Pigment-dyed to apply color to the fabric’s surface and then garment-washed, this piece achieves a vintage-like faded look. With continued wear, you can also enjoy its natural aging process over time.
