Shirring is a specialized technique that intentionally shrinks threads to create distinctive gathers and three-dimensional depth, resulting in a charming, puckered surface. By integrating chenille (mole) yarns throughout the weave, we’ve achieved an even more structural yet lightweight fabric.
This textured surface is as functional as it is stylish—it naturally sits away from the skin, allowing for constant airflow that ensures a cool, dry feel even in the peak of humidity.
