"A Masterpiece Defined by Its Unique Neckline"
Crafted from our signature 14-count yarn, this heavy-duty T-shirt has officially arrived. By utilizing a significantly thicker yarn than standard tees, it delivers the rugged, heavy-duty durability that BARNS OUTFITTERS is renowned for. The standout feature is the "crossover neck"—a distinctive collar specification originally seen on 1980s athletic sweatshirts. This clever design masterfully balances effortless wearability with a unique, eye-catching aesthetic, creating a truly one-of-a-kind finish. A design that combines the iconic California grizzly bear with a collegiate-style layout.

"CALIFORNIA"
As America’s third-largest state, California is renowned for its incredibly diverse and rich natural landscapes, offering everything from coastlines and mountains to deserts and dense forests. It is also home to major metropolises like Los Angeles and San Francisco, which have historically birthed a multitude of iconic cultural movements. This design features California's ultimate symbol—the grizzly bear—masterfully channeled into a classic collegiate-style graphic. To enhance the heritage feel, we tailored the printing techniques to match each body color: a faded wash-out print for the White, and an authentic crack print for both the Black and Green.
The crossover neck is a heritage sweatshirt detail that originally emerged in America during the 1940s and 1950s. Because fabrics of that era lacked the high elasticity of modern knits, the neckline was cleverly crossed over to provide extra slack, making it significantly easier to pull on and off. While traditional crossover designs typically overlap directly at the center front (similar to a V-neck), this specific iteration shifts the overlap to the side. This subtle yet brilliant adjustment maintains the clean, timeless appearance of a classic crew neck while preserving its historical functionality.
Finished with self-fabric shoulder-to-shoulder taping. This classic vintage spec reinforces the neck and shoulders, adding serious durability to ensure the collar never blows out or loses its shape.
Designed with wide, comfortable armholes and a classic boxy fit to maximize airflow, keeping things effortlessly cool and breezy all summer long.
That signature dry-touch texture screams BARNS OUTFITTERS. No need to baby this tee—wear it rough, wash it hard, and enjoy watching it develop a unique vintage patina over the years.
