"A Timeless Staple, Reimagined with a Modern Silhouette"
The ombre check shirt is an enduring classic in menswear. We’ve updated this staple with a relaxed fit tailored for a modern look.
Taking its name from the French word for "shadow," the ombre plaid carries deep roots across American casual heritage?deeply tied to subcultures from skate culture to rock musicians.
To ensure comfortable wear during seasonal transitions, we selected a blend of organic cotton and lyocell. The resulting fabric offers an elegant drape, exceptional breathability, and a light, fluid feel against the skin.

"A Timeless Classic in an Easy, Relaxed Silhouette"
Ombre check is a iconic plaid pattern defined by soft, gradient color transitions where shadows meet crosshatch lines. A hallmark of mid-century Amekaji style, it was embraced by 1950s American bikers and rock musicians alike.
We retained all the essential, authentic details of this staple piece while reworking the cut into a spacious modern fit. The collar features a built-in neckband (tsukikoshi) reinforced with targeted stitching, preventing collar collapse and maintaining a structured, elegant line whether worn open or buttoned up to the top.
Cut in a relaxed, easygoing silhouette, it delivers an effortless, modern drape. The spacious fit prevents the fabric from clinging, keeping you cool and comfortable even through warm transitional days.
The chest pocket is precisely pattern-matched to seamlessly align with the main body, reflecting a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Designed with a roomy boxy silhouette throughout, it features back yoke pleats that allow for comfortable movement while maintaining a crisp, tailored drape that never looks sloppy.
Crafted from a blend of organic cotton and lyocell, this fabric captures the vintage sheen and fluid, fluid-like drape reminiscent of classic rayon. Unlike traditional rayon, however, it maintains its structural integrity wash after wash?offering authentic vintage character built for effortless daily wear.
