"A Reproduct Item Updated for the Modern Day"
Sweet-Orr is a workwear brand founded in 1871 in Wappingers Falls, New York. The brand is well known for its iconic tag featuring six men engaged in a tug-of-war with a piece of clothing. Button Works has recreated the horseshoe-shaped double ring that Sweet-Orr originally distributed as a novelty item at the time.

"A Reproduct Item That Respects the Original"
This meticulously crafted piece faithfully recreates SWEET-ORR’s novelty item, from the material to the shape. Like the original, it is made of iron, adding to its authentic appeal. While paying the utmost respect to the original, the reproduction also embraces unique originality inherent to such items. The colors offer distinct finishes: silver features a subdued, non-glossy patina; charcoal exudes a vintage feel reminiscent of antique silver; and black boasts a matte finish similar to Mil-Spec (U.S. military standard) items. Including gold, the piece also allows you to enjoy the beauty of natural aging over time.
Different engravings are featured on each side: “BUTTON WORKS UNION MADE OVERALLS” on one side and “BUTTON WORKS UNION MADE TROUSERS” on the other.
【BUTTON WORKS】
Buttons, zippers, novelty goods, snaps—once considered minor details in workwear—are meticulously researched and reproduced using traditional American manufacturing techniques and materials. Through this dedication to revival, they bring fresh value and perspective to the apparel industry.
|
ATTENTION
|
Due to the nature of the plating process, the gold color may sometimes have dark spots or discoloration.
