"Reviving Mid-Century Artifacts: The Vintage Gumball Toy Replica"
This special pendant top is a meticulous Sterling Silver (925) reimagining of the nostalgic prize charms found in 1940s and 50s American gumball machines. Where the original vintage toys were stamped with the names and weight classes of legendary era champions, Button Works has subtly integrated its own signature logo—creating a unique, custom piece rooted in deep respect for Americana heritage. While designed primarily as a focal pendant for your necklace, it delivers a massive presence when paired with a shorter chain to function as a premium bag charm or distinctive keychain accent.

"From mid-century plastic prize to premium 925 sterling."
In the 1940s and 50s, gumball machines were an absolute sensation among American children. This special piece faithfully replicates the iconic boxing glove prize charms found inside those vintage vending machines. In a signature tongue-in-cheek move, Button Works has replaced the original text—which featured the names and weight classes of era champions—with their own brand logo. While the mid-century originals were made of cheap plastic, this premium reproduction is forged from heavy Sterling Silver (925). It honors the nostalgia of the source material while elevating it into a refined, high-grade accessory.
The palm side of the boxing glove showcases an equally meticulous, flawless level of craftsmanship, capturing every dimensional detail. Furthermore, a precise hallmark has been seamlessly engraved onto the component as a definitive proof of its genuine Sterling 925 Silver composition.
【Button Works】
Buttons, zippers, novelty goods, snaps—once considered minor details in workwear—are meticulously researched and reproduced using traditional American manufacturing techniques and materials. Through this dedication to revival, they bring fresh value and perspective to the apparel industry.
