"A Globally Popular Culture"
Designed to match the aesthetic of BARNS OUTFITTERS' classic long-sleeve T-shirt?crafted from a heavyweight fabric that remains a favorite year-round?this piece features a vintage-inspired print. This season highlights "Bonsai," a traditional art form currently experiencing a resurgence among younger generations.
Bonsai originated as the art of cultivating and shaping potted plants for appreciation, but today it has evolved into a recognized form of fine art with a passionate fanbase both in Japan and overseas.
The printing techniques are tailored to each colorway: a washed-out print for Oatmeal and Ivory, and a half-rubber print for Black and Red.
This model began with the development of a fabric that could withstand flat seamer sewing and has now become a all-season staple. The "double V gusset," originally a detail of vintage sweatshirts, is expressed in a cut-and-sew fabric to create a classical piece.
Flat seamer sewing is gentle against the skin for stress-free wear.
The round-body construction with no side seams provides a clean look and stress-free comfort.
*Sizes 2XL and 3XL will have a side-seam construction.
A signature BARNS OUTFITTERS fabric knitted from 14-count yarn. Crafted using our proprietary "COZUN" technique, it delivers an exceptional balance of softness, structure, and subtle crispness.
