The story of PEANUTS began on October 2, 1950, debuting in seven American newspapers. Its creator, Charles M. Schulz (1922–2000), was a man of extraordinary dedication. Except for a single five-week break to celebrate his 75th birthday, he drew approximately 18,000 comic strips without a single day off until his retirement in 1999.
Throughout the decades, Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the Peanuts Gang have become enduring icons of pop culture.
This collection commemorates the 1969 Apollo 10 mission, a historic moment when the command module was named "Charlie Brown" and the lunar module "Snoopy."
