"The PEANUTS Special Edition"
The highly anticipated PEANUTS special series returns to BARNS OUTFITTERS. This year’s collection features an original T-shirt crafted from our signature 14-gauge heavy-duty yarn. By using a thicker thread than standard tees, we’ve achieved the rugged, durable texture that defines the BARNS aesthetic. The raglan sleeve construction ensures a stress-free fit, offering comfort and ease of movement around the shoulders. Following last year’s debut, which resonated deeply with vintage enthusiasts, we are proud to release the next chapter in our PEANUTS special edition series. This year’s collection centers on the 1969 Apollo 10 mission, featuring Charlie Brown. The design captures him with a uniquely charming, pensive expression—as if he’s on the verge of saying something—staying true to the thoughtful and endearing spirit of the original 1960s artwork.

"Charlie Brown: The Heart of the PEANUTS Universe"
The story of PEANUTS began on October 2, 1950, debuting in seven American newspapers. Its creator, Charles M. Schulz (1922–2000), was a man of extraordinary dedication. Except for a single five-week break to celebrate his 75th birthday, he drew approximately 18,000 comic strips without a single day off until his retirement in 1999.
Throughout the decades, Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the Peanuts Gang have become enduring icons of pop culture.
This collection commemorates the 1969 Apollo 10 mission, a historic moment when the command module was named "Charlie Brown" and the lunar module "Snoopy."
To capture the soul of that era, we have utilized specialized printing techniques that vary by color, ensuring each piece possesses the authentic character of a true vintage find.
The neckline features a standard lock neck design, offering a simple finish that enhances the overall design.
The use of raglan sleeves allows for improved ease of movement around the shoulders.
Side slits at the hem and a boxy silhouette create a breezy, airy feel. Combined with the relaxed fit, the design also allows for easy on-and-off wear.
The dry-textured fabric is a signature BARNS OUTFITTERS finish. It can be worn casually without worry, allowing you to enjoy its natural aging and evolving character over time.
